Return & Claims Policy

Every Elkaiva order is produced to your approved specifications. This policy outlines how we handle the rare instance of defects or discrepancies while reflecting the realities of custom manufacturing.

Custom Production Commitment

All Elkaiva orders are manufactured specifically for your brand based on approved designs, fabrics, and specifications. Because every product is custom produced, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once production has commenced.

This applies to all branded or labeled items, custom styles, specially sourced fabrics, and personalized packaging.

Defective or Damaged Goods

If your order arrives with any manufacturing defect or damage sustained during transit, Elkaiva will review and resolve the matter at no additional cost to you.

To file a claim, notify us within 10 business days of delivery by contacting hello@elkaiva.com. Include your order number, delivery date, a description of the issue, and supporting photographs.

After review, Elkaiva will offer resolution through replacement of defective items, a refund for affected goods, or a partial credit depending on the nature and scope of the issue. We may request return of defective items for inspection before finalizing the resolution.

Client Approval and Responsibility

Before production begins, Elkaiva provides prototypes, samples, or final confirmations for client review. It is the client's responsibility to verify and approve fit, measurements, fabrics, trims, colors, finishing, labeling, and packaging before production proceeds.

Once approval is given, production moves forward according to the confirmed specifications. Elkaiva is not responsible for discrepancies that result from client-approved specifications or from revisions that were not communicated prior to production approval.

Return Shipping

For approved defective item returns, Elkaiva will cover return shipping costs and arrange collection or provide a prepaid shipping label.

Unapproved returns or unauthorized shipments sent to Elkaiva will not be accepted or refunded.

Production Timelines and Discrepancies

Elkaiva is committed to meeting agreed production timelines. However, delays resulting from fabric sourcing, customs processing, or circumstances beyond our control may occasionally occur. Any such delays will be communicated to the client promptly. Refunds are not granted for production delays unless specifically agreed in writing within the client's production agreement.

Any quantity or item discrepancy must be reported within 7 business days of delivery.

Exclusions

Elkaiva does not accept returns or claims for sizing issues resulting from client-provided measurements, minor variations within standard production tolerances, client overstock or unsold inventory, or change of mind after order confirmation.

Acknowledgment

By engaging Elkaiva for production, you agree to this Return and Claims Policy. This policy forms part of your service agreement, proposal, or invoice terms unless otherwise agreed in writing between Elkaiva and the client.
